Shamrock Shuffle 2019 - My 7th consecutive year

We were so excited to see there was going to be a medal this year!  And we love the shirts!  They look black but are actually navy blue.  And what a surprise that my Facebook Memories picture was my first race and first Shamrock Shuffle in 2013.

 

Jody, Nik, Cartoon and I ran together and Cartoon and I finished at about the same time.  Her PR and first race to run the entire 5K!  (It is always best with Jody coaching us to keep running, run slower, finish strong.)

 

 Sonya ran the Leprechaun Lap and was faster than a lot of the 5 year olds, even with her sore toe.

My favorite race did not disappoint!  Had a great day!

One special note, the TQL Beer Series had some great marketing this year.  Loved their hashtags like #YouBock, #BockStars and #BockOn.
